The Laughter Mechanic

Because Laughter Is The Best Medicine, Ticklish Laughter that is! :)

  • WARNING: No laughter or tickling in this post, sorry 😦 …strictly foot fetishism. Will get back to tickling and laughter soon enough. Until then, hope you enjoy this female foot diversion πŸ™‚ πŸ‘£

    Summer in Spring is invigorating.

That is if Summer is Summer Brennan πŸ™‚ (see below):

In my very usual, very casual, sort of nonchalant, serendipitous, ‘Hey, let’s peruse the NPR news feed’ kind of way, I happened upon this beautiful author telling her beautiful story to Ms. Mary Louise Kelly a few days ago.

Summer was promoting her new book, High Heel, about the iconic, undeniably sexy footwear we all know and are exposed to on a daily basis around this beautiful globe.

Summer’s soft, sensuous voice talking to you about her experiences in these sexy foot adornments is arresting to say the least.

I so wanted her to describe how her feet felt at the end of long days at the U.N. longing for someone, anyone, a cute intern, to rub her sore achilles tendons and arches at her desk after a hard day’s work.

Alas, my radio interview fantasies didn’t come to pass, but I still think the below link will be a true treat for all you foot fetish fans:

    https://www.npr.org/2019/03/21/705207794/high-heel-muses-on-beauty-power-and-stilettos?sc=17&f=&utm_source=iosnewsapp&utm_medium=Email&utm_campaign=app

Once I recovered from Summer’s lovely experiences in heels, the heel concept got me going down a bit of a rabbit-hole, if you will, for other news stories involving these delightful shoes.

The link below has an interesting anecdote at 1 min and 10 sec where the lovely New York Historical Society’s museum curator, Valerie Paley, (see picture below) is describing one particular 1838 ballet slipper in the Weitzman exhibit, Walk This Way, as PURPOSELY designed in an absolutely rigid, and straight fashion.

    https://www.nhpr.org/post/get-pumped-100-fabulous-pairs-shoes-are-view-new-york

    Why you ask?

Valerie explains in her own soft, sensuous voice that at the time it was considered ‘too erotic to show the delineation of [a woman’s] foot.’

As we can see above, Valerie has thankfully not listened to her 1838 critics, and her own delineation eroticism is forthcoming πŸ™‚

Thank you, Valerie! πŸ™‚ You look amazing in general, and INCREDIBLY amazing in those shoes! πŸ™‚

If you’re ever in the Monterey Bay Area, drop me a note.

I’ll be happy to help relieve you of any aches and pains those gorgeous heels are having on you and, what have to be, gorgeous feet and toes.

    Seriously, email me πŸ™‚

The interviewer, Susan Stamberg, then chimes in with Valerie with an, ‘Ohhhh, the cuuurve, of the instep!’

And Valerie adds, ‘And the side of your toes.’

    Erotic, indeed, ladies.

    Erotic, in…deed.

Those 19th century folks were definitely on to something about below the female ankle cause and effect πŸ™‚

Finally, there’s the vending machine story (see below):

    https://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=130585221

Apparently after a night of dancing in your sexy stilettos , you can swap those spiky heels out for some ballerina shoes that come straight out of a vending machine!

They even come with a little bag for your heels.

This mother of invention idea must have come from a woman who’d spent too many times walking home barefoot from the clubs and wedding parties with aching feet.

As foot fetishists, I think we’re probably missing out on a grand opportunity here, are we not?

Is there an elephant in the room?

Apparently there are enough women with aching tired feet willing to drop $10-$20 at vending machines for some rather simple, not very supportive, coverings for their aching barefeet to walk home in.

Why aren’t we there for these poor women to offer them a value-added support proposition like the one below?

Ummm, Ms., I, uhhh, couldn’t help but notice that you said you’re…FEET are aching…and you’re going to just put these rather unsupportive ballerina shoes out of this vending machine onto your tired aching bare feet for the walk home. I don’t know you from Adam, but, if you’re interested, there’s good science to show that just a 3-5 minute foot massage after being in heels for hours can quickly repair much of the damage done to your bare feet while wearing those gorgeous shoes you have there. I’d be happy to give you and your friends a quick 3 minute foot massage right here in the train station to help you all before you head back home. No pressure of course. Just a thought.’

    What do you think?

    Too creepy?

    Too pushy?

    Too something else?

Just throwing out some darts to see what sticks.

Regardless, apparently there are enough women out there in their high heels in need of serious late night foot relief, and it seems a shame that there aren’t cadres of us foot fetishists out there to meet this demand πŸ™‚

I think we can make this happen πŸ™‚

What do you think about high heels on women?

Drive you crazy like the photo below does me?

  • So, for those of you expecting an article on foot fetish and tickling today, apologizes to all of you.

About the best I can do is a cheesy, campy, knock off picture of two chimps commenting on their first glimpse at Jane Goodall ;0

No, today is going to be a bit of a diversion from the norm so to speak.

I hope it may speak to some of you.

Your regularly scheduled programming will resume momentarily ;0

So I sent this NPR science story to my mother yesterday.

    Here’s the link:

    https://n.pr/2UJ80GT

Now there are a few things you should know about my mother.

    She’s a Jesus-loving, Bible-Thumping, Hell-Fire-Brimstone-believing, Fox-News-watching, Evolution-Hating, Trump-Supporting, unconsciously bigoted and potentially racist, dyed-in-the-wool Republican 70+ year old of European descent female.

    Yep.

Now the chances of her diametrically opposed to pretty much EVERYTHING she stands for, and yours truly, son reaching across the aisle so to speak and connecting with my mother on this controversial issue of primate emotions and evolution are about as great as the LA Lakers making the playoffs this year.

    Slim.

And so far, I haven’t heard anything from my mother.

    Cue Crickets sound effect.

But…I’m still hopeful LeBron can pull off a miracle.

I’m interested in your take as well on this NPR story.

I’m guessing for the majority of you reading this, a science story like this isn’t all that surprising to you.

Still, even me, someone who fully believes evolution, Darwin, Origin of Species, the whole 9 yards, this is pretty dramatic evidence of how much we share with our 98% DNA match chimpanzees and other primates on the planet, right?!

Somehow, reading this article makes me all of a sudden not so worried about all my 1st world human emotion and behavior issues.

I, and the rest of the 7, close to 8, billion of us humans here, have inherited a ton of these emotions and behaviors just straight up coming out of Africa many millions of years ago ;0

And, of course, there are those both blessed and cursed of peoples who are not ‘out of Africa’ at all.

They are rather very much still in this amazing cradle of our civilization.

I think articles like this make it all the more prescient to all us humans here to preserve and understand this epicenter of our primate-hood and humanity in Africa, and treat this area, our fellow humans, and our fellow primates, and really all animals for that matter , with the utmost respect and dignity.

In a way, to take a few pages from Jesus’s playbook (assuming there was a Jesus, I’m actually not convinced there even was just this one person they called Jesus, am thinking he was more of an amalgam of people at that time who claimed to have superpowers…long story…sorry…tangent) and do unto others as we would have done unto ourselves, and loving our neighbors, including our primate neighbors, wherever they may be, as ourselves.
